Today I am going through the Wolverhampton card with my thoughts race by race so hope this works for you? See below.
Results from last Saturday
Weren’t my best although a few good steers.
NB About 80% of all money traded on a race comes in the last 10 minutes. 50% in the last 5 minutes. If you see big market moves either in or out then take heed!
NAP OF THE DAY: KINGSON Wolverhampton 4.45
BACK TO LAY ANOTHER ANGEL Wolverhampton 8.15
WOLVERHAMPTON 4.15Dragons Will Rise should be hard to beat. In form and a C&D winner he is still on a lowly mark and so is taken to follow up in a relatively weak contest. 4.45 Kingson is back at a track which tends to bring the best out of him. A son of Kingsman he didn’t get the 1m 3f LTO so coming back to 1m 1f should suit. A good apprentice also takes 5lbs off his back. 5.15Blazon is a C&D winner and will enjoy being back at Wolves today. Was there about at Kempton LTO only beaten a length and a half having been left short of room coming up the straight. Should be a decent price so you could do a Place bet. Fleur Irlandaise is a strange one. If reproducing hurdles form onto Tapeta then she’d have a great chance as she has competed at listed level. Tipped by HT she is now 7/4 or lower which could offer a lay to back opportunity. 5.45 Harlow was a beaten favourite LTO and is expected to bounce back. He has received support in the market this AM but still represents decent each way value. Red Bond won’t haveto improve much to be involved and Daheer is 2 for 2 here over C&D so must be in with a good shout. 6.15 I think this will be between two lightly raced horses in Pivital Decision and Ffion with the vote going to the later. Two reasons; she is a C&D winner and is drawn 5 as oppose to right on the outside at 10 for the former. Should be a good contest – watch the betting. 6.45 Donny Marlow won’t have to be anything great to win this lowly contest and the betting so far says he is. Of those that have run Kath’s Totboy should come out best. Once again in races like these watch the betting in the last 5 minutes and take note of major shortening or drifting. 7.15 Misty Grey improved to win FTO for his new stable and won’t take a lot more improvement to follow up off 5lbs higher. Astro Jakk won under an enterprising ride LTO at Newcastle but I think that is as good as it gets from him. 7.45 Iconic Knight has some good form in the bank but LTO was drawn wide and the inexperienced apprentice couldn’t find a spot to settle him. Should do loads better now under Luke Morris and drawn 4. Eye Of The Water will want to lead and Kingscote could be the man to do it so back to layers you might get on this. 8.15 Chookie Dunedin needed a better pace to shoot at LTO and today Another Angel will provide that. The later might offer a BTL opportunity.
Best of luck if you are trading.
