FREE Flat racing tips for 8th June 2018 evening Goodwood & Haydock meetings

With 5 meetings on 8th June 2018 tips for the day meetings have already been publish. Here are the tips for the evening meetings at Goodwood & Haydock Park:

In terrific form and doing well for Ian Williams. Owned and ridden by Dr Voikansky to two of his three victories including 7 days ago at this course over 1m1f where she looked like the further they went the further ahead she was going to win by (her jockey looking around for dangers more than riding her out). She has won over 1m4f twice so the 1m3f should be fine and now has the assistance of a former champion jockey in Jim Crowley. I take her to beat Gift of Hera under the 6lb penalty. The fact that she is a hold up horse and she has experience of the track are big things in her favour.

DANECASE – 19.25

Currently below his last winning mark ran a good race in a hands and heels apprentice race at Newmarket last time out where he was squeezed out in the last 1/2f. Haydock is a notoriously difficult track for front runners to win at (ranked 27/29) and over 6f the high drawn horses are favoured because they get to go up the stands rails. Danecase has won all his races when being held up and is drawn widest of all so all good there. One of my favoured jockeys takes over from the apprentice so I’m hoping for a big show. Currently 7/1 think about a small win bet but also a place bet as he should at least make the frame if running up to anywhere near his best.

Here is the classic false favourite profile. One encouraging run is all we have to go on and she’s 8/13 in the betting? She holds a Ribblesdale entry but so does Elasia. AGAIN I will stress if the betting going up to the race shows “in the know” money being lumped on then don’t oppose but if this drifts then it should be taken on.

REVIEW OF RESULTS – All advised bets won.
    Pretty Jewel – WINNER (NAP)
Did it really nicely and gamely. Very strong in the market but needed the assistance of a professional jockey.

    Danecase – Second
As advised I thought he had a good chance and the in running boys thought he was going to win as he traded as low as 1.35 in the run. Running against the rails helped as did Danny Tudhope who is on fire at the moment. Place bet in the bag so hopefully you made good money out of this 12/1 shot.

Sacred Path – SECOND (Lay bet advised)
Not only did we have a false favourite at 8/13 who just managed to get second but the winner was a 66/1 shot. Sacred Path maybe didn’t like the surface but he took an age to pick up and never looked like passing the winner.
