FREE racing tips for HAYDOCK 14th June – this evening

Insidetraxs provides FREE racing tips for the racing at Haydock tonight:

HAYDOCK:

ROMAN RIVER – 18.55

Silvestre De Sousa leaves Nottingham early to get up to Haydock for this ride on Martin Smith’s 3 yr old. Roman River showed improved form at Doncaster last time over the longer trip of 7f but was speedy that day being prominent all the way until the last furlong where he kept on at one pace finally finishing a close fourth. He should have the speed to keep up and as the 5f is uphill almost all the way should stay this 5f better than others. At 9/2 and with SdS in the saddle you would want to have a win bet.

THE DETAINEE – 18.20

Comes all the way up from near Bath for Neil Mulholland. His win at Windsor is turning out well with Amulet and Pretty Jewel winning 4 races between them since with the latter winning three including a decent Cl3 at Goodwood. Any repeat of that form would beat these but I think this race is more about the jockeys. The favourite Fort Jefferson will be ridden by Ross Turner – a claimer who does his normal race riding over jumps and hasn’t won on the flat yet. The selection in this 4 runner affair has the assistance of the promising young William Cox who is regularly used by Godolphin trainer S bin Suroor. I fancy his experience will make the difference and at 2/1 makes appeal for a back to lay bet.

ESCOBAR – 19.55

A smart performer who was bought for 100,000 gns and is now with the master improver David O’Meara. Will be difficult to beat on a course which suites hold up types and with Danny Tudhope on board you have a jockey on top form at the moment.

    REVIEW OF RESULTS:
    The Detainee – THIRD
Looked competitive to 2f out but then was one paced on this faster ground. Wait for soft ground before thinking of backing again.
    Roman River – WINNER
Came from last to first in just over a furlong to win with something in hand. Looks to have another win to come.
    Escobar – WINNER
Exactly as predicted. Held up and had a nice run up the inside and then took over at 1f pole to pull away and win with something in hand. Again another that looks like he can win again.
