NAP OF THE DAY – POUVOIR MAGIQUE – 5th June 2018

The Nap of the Day today is Pouvoir Magique at Newcastle in the 20.15 Cl3 Hcp over 1m. He has won over this course and distance as a 3 year old and won a good quality Class 2 handicap on his reappearance beating a useful sort in Ripp Orf.

John Gosden doesn’t send many up to Newcastle but when he does his record is 38% have won.

Fayez looks the obvious danger having run a good second to Gurkha Friend coming from the in form combo of David O’Meara and Danny Tudhope.

    POUVOIR MAGIQUE – Last
    Really didn’t take to it. Got a bit het up on the way to the start and didn’t settle early and then seemed to give up. I will be putting a big line through that performance – but all the same a terrible performance for an odds on shot!!
