BETFAIR EXCHANGE TRADING VIDEOS

FEATURED VIDEO

Today’s featured video is:

“Exchange Trading – Should I Follow The Money?”

When you should follow the money and when you SHOULDN’T!
Too many traders get caught out following the money (cause the money’s always right isn’t it?!) when the market bounces or corrects itself.
This video and the next (called Contrary Trading) gives you clues as to when to FTM and when to be a contrary trader.

NAP OF THE DAY

The NAP OF THE DAY runs at Wolverhampton in the 2.50.

WATER’S EDGE

Was the most inconvenienced by a messy race last time out where he finished behind Gantier. However with Caplin likely to set a reasonable pace to aim at I take the selection to reverse those placings.

Oisin Murphy is on board today and James Tate has a 24.4% strike rate at this track.

At the price of nearly 5.0 on Betfair the selection is also good value.

BACK TO LAY:
The Back to Lay runs at Wolverhampton in the 3.55.

REFLEKTOR

There will be competition for the lead between the selection and Bungee Jump which I am hoping will not turn into a cut throat affair.

Richard Kingscote (as you will know by now is a favourite jockey of mine) and Tom Dascombe, a very good trainer, will have thought through the options.

REFLEKTOR won a Class 2 over this C&D just over a year ago off a 3lb higher mark and has run OK at this level since; although he has had a big break over the summer. After three races back I take him to bounce back and will certainly trade significantly lower than his current price (around 9.0 on Betfair).

The chart shows he has traded below his BSP on all of his last 14 runs. Most have been between 25% and 33%. I think he can do better today but will play safe with my recommendation.

Advice: Back to Lay looking for 33% profit.

FALSE FAVOURITE & PLACE VALUE

FALSE FAVOURITE:

INDIAN TYGRESS  Chelmsford 7.30

Won nicely last time out but cannot really justify even money odds with a couple of others only needing to improve a small amount to give him a good run.

PLACE VALUE:

EMILY GOLDFINCH  Chelmsford 7.30

We tipped this horse as a back to lay LTO and you might wish to do that again today.
She will lead and over the shorter trip might stand a chance of holding on (last time over 7f she ran out of puff and lost 4 places inside the final furlong). Also this is at Chelmsford where front runners are favoured versus Wolverhampton where they are not – see TrackFaxs at InsideTraxs.co.uk.
