March 29th 2019 – News & updates

YESTERDAY:

Was a pretty good day with:
BACK TO LAY won at a BSP of 17!
FALSE FAVOURITE Indian Tygress drifted and came 3rd
Our PLACE VALUE paid 3.2 for a top four place and if you did her as a Back to Lay she paid more than 100% (BSP 19.5 IP Lo 8.0)
The let down was Water’s Edge who doesn’t seem to have the turn of foot to win either at the class or the distance.

TODAY:

We tell you more about the Betfair Exchange trading videos we do.

We are still providing you with tips including our NAP OF THE DAY and other tips for use with Betfair to make you money.

The Back to Lay selection includes a screenshot of the last number of races so you can see BSP versus IP Lo.

Best of luck.

“When to Back a Back to Lay?”

You’ve done your homework or got a Back to Lay tip from www.insidetraxs.co.uk BUT when do you back it? In the morning when there is little or no money around so you might get great odds or a few minutes before the off so you can see the true market? This video tries to help and shows how our FREE Staking Calculator can help manage the risk.

NAP OF THE DAY

The NAP OF THE DAY runs at Lingfield in the 4.10.

LORD LAMINGTON

Won with loads in hand at Newcastle last time out and is likely to improve further. Turned out under a penalty he is 7lbs well in and will take all the beating if in anything like the same form.

Albert Finney looks the danger but disappointed LTO and will need to bounce back to really challenge the selection.

BACK TO LAY:
The Back to Lay runs at LIngfield in the 2.30.

TAVENER

Andrea Artzeni is a Premiere League jockey and David Griffiths is a good trainer of sprint horses so Tavener is the logical selection. On the balance of form and at the weights he should have the beating of Spirit of Zebedee who is one of the fancied runners.

However Tavener is a back to lay because a lot will depend on him getting out in front and leading or being very close up after the first furlong. If that happens he will have a great chance of winning this. If not then I would cash out.

Tavener won a Class 3 (5f) at Chelmsford in April 2018 off 78 under this jockey. He now runs off 61 in a Class 5.

The chart shows he has traded below his BSP on 9 out of his last 12 runs (normally when he got the lead).

Advice: Back to Lay looking for 50%+ profit (but remember no lead = cash out)

FALSE FAVOURITE & PLACE VALUE

FALSE FAVOURITE:

NEVADA  Newcastle 5.55

Has run well the last twice coming second on both occasions. The form is OK and Steve Gosling’s charge may well be there or there abouts – but this does not make him a 5/2 favourite in a 13 runner Class 6.
He is a lay at this price.
Do watch out though this may be a springer and if the horse is heavily back (below 2/1) it may be prudent to retire gracefully.
