As with courses some trainers and even jockeys have more winners over certain distances. Robert Cowell, a very talented trainer, for example, had all his winners in 2017 over 5, 6 & 7f. In fact 34 of his 44 winners came at 5f at a profit of £13.37 to a £1 level stake. Knowing this fact you would be able to make a profit backing Robert Cowell horses over 5f (particularly at Southwell!).
