LOUIE DE PALMA – Hcp 19.15
Won twice as a 2 year old and also came second in a Group 2 race at Goodwood. Back down in grade and with a run under his belt, after nearly 4 years off the track, he could be ready to return to winning ways. It’s a bit of a punt as there was obviously something amiss to lead to such a long absence and the run at Ascot should have given clear indications to connections whether he has retained his ability or not. He was quite heavily backed for that Ascot run and is currently 4/1 all of which points to a big run tonight. Clive Cox has a 23% strike rate here at Windsor and Adam Kirby has a 21% strike rate over the last 5 years.
The rest of the card at Windsor has some wide open races and as I can’t see a significant angle to give you the edge I won’t be tipping any more horses here tonight.
